Donna Donella Rosso is the origin, the starting point, the Tuscan character.
Sangiovese for the most part, along with Ciliegiolo, the more fragrant father of Sangiovese itself, are the grapes that make up this wine which, after fermentation, undergoes no other processing in the cellar, but rests clean in stainless steel containers for a period of at least 12 months. It is then bottled and after 3/4 months of bottle aging, it is ready to be enjoyed.
It is a wine that fully expresses the terroir from which it comes.
The name, Donna Donella, or simply DD, is a tribute to Donella Zanoboni, custodian of family traditions as well as of the customs and traditions of the area.
DD Rosso is a wine with an excellent quality / price ratio, which can successfully accompany both meat and cold cuts or fresh or slightly aged cheeses.
